Irene's life hasn't been the same since Maggie left town. Day after day, working the same job, everything blending into static. When Maggie comes back, Irene can hardly believe it. It seems like a miracle. Even though she looks different, more dressed up, more beautiful. Even though Irene's not sure if she's a dream or reality. Even though she's asking Irene to do terrible things for her, at least she's here. She's here, and she finally wants her. Can't it be real? Why can't it be real?
